Project Director/Systems Engineer PEO STRI - PM Constructive Simulation May 2005 June 2007 Ms. Franceschini supported the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Program as a Systems Engineer and eventually as a Project Director. She managed the events and schedule associated with the program, including requirements management, coordination with the Combat Developer (National Simulation Center) for verification/validation events, planning integration events with multiple contractor organizations, fielding of the product to various Government facilities, and managing software updates to fielded baselines. Program Manager Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) March 1997 May 2005 Ms. Franceschini began as a software developer and was promoted to Project Director and eventually Program Manager at SAIC. Her career at SAIC was focused on programs in constructive simulation beginning with Modular Semi-Automated Forces (ModSAF), to OneSAF TestBed Baseline (OTB) SAF, to One Semi-Automated Forces (OneSAF). Ms. Franceschini served as the Integration & Test Lead for the OneSAF Objective System (OOS) Future Combat Support (FCS) Program. She contributed to the architectural design of the FCS embedded training systems by providing OneSAF and OTB integration expertise. She led the integration and test team in the development of OneSAF FCS System Integration Plans, Formal Test Plans and Procedures, and test processes. She was responsible for the establishment of the test lab and the effort to set up the OneSAF FCS Integrated Development Environment (IDE), which leverages COTS and open-source products tailored from the OneSAF base program. Ms. Franceschini managed the OneSAF Testbed Baseline (OTB)/ModSAF program. Her responsibilites included managing the contractual, financial, and technical activities of the OTB task orders and contracts for OTB development and maintenance, the Combined Arms Staff Trainer (CAST) Upgrade Program, the Deployable Virtual Training Environment (DVTE) Program, the OTB Joint Virtual Battlespace (JVB) task order, the OTB Exercise & Experimentation Support (EES) task order, the Mission Planning and Rehearsal System (MPARS) task order and the AVCATT-A SAF program. Project Director/Systems Engineer AcuSoft January 1996 March 1997 Ms. Franceschini coordinated technical activities, interacted with customers, reported cost and schedule status, tracked schedule and milestone requirements, and submitted contract deliverables. She was responsible the technical activities for all delivery orders under the ADST II program, which included Synthetic Theater of War Exercise 96 (STOWEX 96), the Army Experiment III - Louisiana Maneuvers Task Force (LAM Task Force AE3), the Experimental Force (EXFOR) program, and Joint Combat Search and Rescue (JCSAR).
